In the early 1970s, a few Springfield-area dentists began discussing the possibilities of working together as a group—a group that could provide more complete care for its patients. As the plan evolved, the large investment of time, work and capital required to turn the group concept into reality became clear.

In 1974, eight highly committed dentists broke ground on a group building in the open countryside south of town. Later that year, Parkcrest Dental Group opened for business—also opening a dynamic new idea in total dental care to the people of Springfield and Southwest Missouri.

Today, Springfield has grown up around our practice. Parkcrest Dental Group remains a highly regarded general-dentistry and multi-specialty practice—offering area families and individuals more dental care capabilities under one roof than any other dental group.
